We are celebrating my first Valentines Day in Tallahassee. My best friend and I started it out with a bang by surprising our roommate with the ultimate Valentine. Guran works as a waitress which often means late hours and crappy shifts. Not only did she have to work the night shift the night before Valentine's Day, she also had to work on the holiday as well. So the night before while she was at work we covered the living room in everything pink we could find! Shades of pink and red splattered the walls in form of hearts, streamers outstretched from the center of the room, and red, white and pink balloons filled the floor. Nothing was left untouched by our creativity! When she got home, we had "Can You Feel the Love Tonight," sung by Elton John from the movie the Lion King playing in the background. I could go on and on about this, but I feel as if this is definitely one of those situations where a picture is worth a thousand words... or in this case, a thousand hearts!
