I am working on a few writing exercises to build up my characters for my novel. This entails being very creative, and dipping into my imagination as I think about what makes each of my girls unique. It is a really fun process, but it is time consuming! As I do this, I think about a lot of my favorite things and thought it would be fun to pull together a list of my favorite songs! - Right now I am the little girl in the big city! Back in June of 2010 I moved to Tallahassee, Florida to be closer to my best friend and pursue new opportunities. It was a huge change for a girl who spent most of her life in Kansas, but it has been the best decision I have ever made. I am waiting for my Florida residency to kick in so I can return to school at FSU and begin my English Major with a focus in Media/Writing/Editing and a minor in Communications. In the mean time I work as a Full-Time Nanny for 1-year old twin boys! Meaning I do everything you would for one child only twice as much and twice as fast! I also continue to pursue my goal of becoming a published children's book writer. I really love writing and enjoy what I do and hope to one day be able to do it as my main career. In the meantime, my motto is "One Page At a Time..."
