The weather here is very windy and we are under a tornado watch as I write this... exciting weather indeed! I woke up early this morning to the gust of air squealing under my window, pushing past the wire screen. Despite the wind though, it is a very nice temperature outside.
Today is a strange day for writing in my realm of creativity! I have a feeling new characters are pushing their way out because I am having a hard time keeping my train of thought. Lately I have been working really hard on finishing my Untitled Manuscript (temporarily named the Tale of Willow Heights to differentiate it from my other pieces of work). I really need to work on the mystical world and the characters who help the girls get home. To do this I have been reading more than my fair share of fairy research, goblin stories, and novels from authors who have already been published for their mystical genius. Due to this plethora of information, I have been having the most unique dreams! Many of my ideas come from my dreams, but occasionally a character will start forming randomly throughout a day or week. This is always fun!
This is basically what I am working on for the most part. I have been putting bits and pieces together for another novel idea... but it is more sporadic at the moment. I'll write more on that as it becomes more concrete. Until then, I will continue to live in the realm of fantasy and mythical creatures!
